Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of Mentor AI, operated by Lepak Labs (UEN 53534540B), registered in Singapore ("we", "us"). By creating an account or using Mentor AI you agree to these Terms and our Privacy Policy.

1. The service

Mentor AI is an AI companion that helps you set goals, track progress and receive general guidance. Replies are generated by artificial intelligence and may sometimes be inaccurate or incomplete.

2. Service provided "as-is"

Mentor AI is provided "as-is" and "as available". We make no guarantees of specific outcomes, results or that the service will be uninterrupted or error-free. Mentor AI does not provide professional medical, legal, financial or mental-health advice. For personal advice in these areas, please consult a qualified professional. In an emergency in Singapore, call 995.

To the extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim relating to the service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months before the claim.

3. Eligibility and children

Mentor AI is designed for users aged 10 and up. Users under 18 must have permission from a parent or guardian, and children should use Mentor AI with adult supervision.

4. Your responsibilities

• Use Mentor AI respectfully and kindly.
• Don't misuse the AI: do not try to generate violent, sexual, hateful, self-harm, illegal or dangerous content, bypass safety features, or harass others.
• Don't share personal details such as your full name, address, phone number, ID numbers or passwords in chats.
• Keep your login details secure and tell us if you suspect unauthorised access.
• Don't attempt to disrupt, reverse-engineer, scrape or overload the service.

5. Free trial

New accounts receive a free trial of 7 calendar days or 20 messages, whichever comes first. After the trial ends, you cannot start new conversations or send messages unless you subscribe; your existing chat history remains saved (subject to our retention policy) but locked.

6. Subscription terms

• Mentor AI Plus costs S$4.90 per month or S$49 per year (prices in Singapore dollars, inclusive of any applicable taxes unless stated otherwise). A Family plan (S$9.90 per month for up to 4 people) is not yet available.
• Fair use: Plus gives you unlimited messages for normal personal use, with no daily or monthly message count. To protect the service from spam, automated use and abuse, we may pause sending for a short "cool-off" (usually 5 minutes, or 10 minutes if it happens again within an hour) when an account sends many messages in a very short time (for example, more than 8 in one minute or 30 in ten minutes) or repeats the same message. Messages longer than 4,000 characters are not accepted. As a safety net, an unusually high volume (currently 300 messages in a day) may be paused until the next day (midnight Singapore time). We will always tell you clearly in the app when a pause applies and when you can continue, and we will give reasonable notice before making these protections stricter.
• Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the end of each billing period (monthly or yearly) and you will be charged until you cancel.
• Payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store your card details.
• Cancellation anytime: you can cancel at any time from the "My plan" page. You keep access until the end of your current billing period and will not be charged again.
• Refunds: we offer a 7-day refund on your first charge — see our Refund Policy. Later renewals are non-refundable except where required by law.
• We will give you reasonable notice before changing prices.

7. Termination

We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms, misuse the service, or pose a risk to other users or to us. You may stop using Mentor AI and delete your account at any time.

8. Intellectual property

The Mentor AI service, brand and software belong to Lepak Labs. You keep ownership of the content you write. You give us permission to process it only to provide the service.

9. Changes

We may update these Terms from time to time. We will notify you of material changes, and continued use after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

10. Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Singapore, and the courts of Singapore have exclusive jurisdiction.
